SO...THAT'S what you've been doing down there! I've heard the drilling and sawing. I've seen the sparks shooting out of the shop into the back yard. I've witnessed you burying the scrap wood, charred metal, and hacked up body parts next to Sheena's tree. You were actually going to blame her weren't you?
That little round plastic pool you bought...is that really for Leyna...or is that one of your prototypes?
Now I know the maniacal laughter that echoes from the vents isn't paranormal.
Seriously, however, I've been amazed by the skill and imagination you use to build everything you've built. You're the McGyver of scrap wood.

*Runs away*

Sorry, that Osteo-Bite-Me-Flex really put the spring back in my step.

Hurray! It worked...I mean, I didn't really mean to guilt trip you or anything, but I do wonder how you're doing sometimes, and I do enjoy your posts.

I was just telling everyone today (because it was a lovely, temperate day here and being stuck in the kitchen seemed hot and claustrophobic, and the neon lights seemed more warehouse-y than normal) how envious I was of those European noblemen back in the day because they had time to sit around and practice arts and sciences, go on long walks, and read and write to their hearts content. I think it would be fun to invent things. The best I've ever done is to tie a string on a clamp and attach it to my light switch (that way I could turn my light off when I heard my parents coming down the stairs so they wouldn't know I was reading instead of sleeping; when the coast was clear I could turn it back on again without getting out of bed). I don't think anyone would buy that, though. Darn clapping lights driving me out of business.

You've got the marketing down pat (although I think someone created the oxi-moron under a different name. They stole from you! You should sue for royalties, right?). Best of luck with the inventions.

What a kind and sweet message. Thank you. I know I've been away from the blogging thing here for quite a while. Ah, how easy it is to fall away from. I was happy to see your new post in my email, by the way, and need to get on over to your site. I am doing well, despite the long absence here. I have at least been contemplating a post or two and a few very minor changes or touch-ups to the site, so I will be back. Perhaps sooner rather than later. It's quite nice to hear from you, by the way, and I appreciate the message.
