I too have my own space in the basement, thanks to the love and generosity of my daughter Collette and my son-in-law Jamie. I may not have the handyman skills you have, but I do have some, thanks to your training I can identify a number of tools, how and when to use them.

I do bring my own unique skills: I pet sit, cook, I have a full refrigerator and pantry at all times. My grand-kids love my cozy little place, because we are close and can interact with each other at all times, even if we are all doing different things, cooking, crafting, playing games, or playing with my pets. Life is good and I too am blessed, and you said it best.
